“Met veel plezier heb ik de afgelopen maanden meegewerkt aan de creatie van het nieuwe album ‘Junio’ door gitariste en flamencozangeres María Marín. Ik heb de opnames en mix verzorgd en de gitaarbegeleiding gedaan bij het nummer Fandangos de Huelva ‘20 de Noviembre’.
Het leukste van zo’n proces vind ik de samenwerking met andere muzikanten. Het mixen van het geluid is daarnaast altijd de grootste uitdaging. De keuzes die ik maak, zorgen ervoor dat alles goed op elkaar afgestemd is en zo goed mogelijk klinkt. En ik kan met gerust hart zeggen dat ik erg trots ben op het resultaat!”
Het album ‘Junio’ is te beluisteren op YouTube, Spotify en binnenkort ook fysiek als CD.
“I am delighted to have been participating in the creation of the new album ‘Junio' by guitarist and flamenco singer María Marín the last couple of months. My part in it was to record and mix it all and I have performed the guitar accompaniment in the track Fandangos de Huelva '20 de Noviembre’.
Most of the fun for me lies in collaborating with other artists and the biggest challenge for me is always mixing the sound. My choices in that area have to ensure that everything is tuned and synchronised to sound as good as possible. And I can safely say I am very proud of the result!”
